Over the past three decades, the political crisis in Arab states has been a central concern for these writers. Aesthetically, the Arabic minimalist story is defined by its essential features and components, often employing "blurring transparency" that challenges readers to look beyond the surface. By getting straight to the point, minimalist stories create a powerful impact, utilizing devices like satire, irony, and paradox to engage readers deeply. Unlike longer narratives that elaborate on events, minimalist stories directly address the core experiences the writer intends to convey. Their concentrated and immediate nature effectively captures themes of struggle and resistance, ensuring that readers remain focused on the central issues without distraction.
