This book gives students a taste of the interesting variety of contemporary poetry written in English, and helps them develop their fluency skills. Each poem is preceded by a warm-up activity which enables learners to associate its theme with their own lives. After listening to and reading the poem, foll-up activities help students to understand the overall meaning and respond to what is special in it. Final activities ask students to produce a short piece of writing.
