This collaboration between the AA and Gites de France is a guide to over 3500 professionally inspected B&Bs in France. All properties are rated with three or four "ears of corn", Gites de France's highest rating for B&Bs, and over 70 percent of establishments offer a double room for under #30. The guide is divided up by tourist regions, with informative regional introductions and then by departments. Each entry includes a description of the accommodation, contact details, prices, local facilities and attractions. There is also a 91-page atlas section with all B&B locations plotted.
