Whenever the Spirit of God's kingdom is truly present on earth, it will inevitably confront the stronghold of hell. Where evil spirits establish footholds or strongholds, the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that Jesus builds. This exploration delves into the three arenas of spiritual warfare that maturing Christians encounter: the mind, the church, and the heavenly places. It offers foundational insights, wisdom, and discernment about the nature of the battle and keys to victory. Key insights include the notion that "Victory begins with the name of Jesus on our lips. It is consummated by the nature of Jesus in our hearts." The text also discusses the existence of satanic strongholds over nations and communities, which influence churches and individuals. These strongholds manifest as demonically induced patterns of thinking, creating a dwelling for satanic activity. Furthermore, it poses critical questions about the state of one's love: Is it growing and becoming more visible, or is it becoming more calculating and less available? A decline in love indicates the development of a stronghold of cold love within. Lastly, it highlights an ancient war between the spirit of Elijah, representing heaven's interests and the call to repentance, and the spirit of Jezebel, which seeks to obstruct and undermine the work of repentance.
