Before the publication of this book, the author, at the urging of medical students, had initiated very popular annual courses in "The Philosophy of Medicine." These courses covered such subjects as population control, abortion, euthanasia, anxieties, psychotropic drugs, sex deviations, marriage, social problems, and crime.
