A comprehensive overview of Emil Nolde, this book traces the artist’s entire career, providing new perspectives on his life and work. Known as a master of color, Emil Nolde used many different types of media besides painting, including watercolor, drawing, and prints, to create works such as his numerous flower paintings and coastal landscapes.
