      In the third installment of the Last King of Osten Ard series, the kingdom faces dire threats. The High Throne of Erkynland is unstable, with a fractured royal family. Her grandson Morgan, the heir, is captured by a soldier from Utuk'ku amidst the ruins of an abandoned city.
