Po raz pierwszy rzymskich, w 1960 roku, a potem, mając już akredytację, komentował igrzyska w Tokio (1964), Meksyku (1968), Monachium (1972), Montrealu (1976) i Moskwie (1980) oraz niezliczoną liczbę sportowych imprez światowych, europejskich i krajowych. W jego licznych książkach czytelnik zapoznaje się z legendarnymi sportowcami ery nowożytnej, jak Spiros Louis, Ray Ewry, Paavo Nurmi, Jesse Owens, Halina Konopacka, Janusz Kusociński, Jerzy Kulej, Michael Johnson czy też najwybitniejsza polska sportsmenka Irena Kirszenstein-Szewińska.
