Caly ha iniziato a disegnare all'asilo e ha scoperto i manga all'età di 12 anni. Dopo aver studiato arti applicate, questa giovane designer sta ora perseguendo una laurea in Comunicazione Visiva. Ha iniziato a sviluppare la sua serie MaHo-Megumi nel 2007, dedicandosi all'autopubblicazione l'anno seguente. Riconosciuta come "Fanzine Star" dalla rivista Animeland, ha da allora ottenuto un contratto per il suo nuovo manga shojo, Hana No Breath, una storia presentata in due volumi.
