All About Doggie and Pussycat: How They Kept House and All Sorts of Other Things As Well (Czech: Povídání o pejskovi a kočičce: Jak spolu hospodařili a ještě o všelijakých jiných věcech) is a charming Czech children’s book about a dog and a cat who live together in a house and wish to do everything as people do. They bake a cake, wash their floor, go for a Sunday stroll, and write letters. However, since they are a dog and a cat and not people, things do not always go as they wish. The book, which is considered a classic of children’s literature in the Czech Republic, was written and illustrated by the Czech author Josef Čapek. * Povídání o pejskovi a kočičce – Jak spolu hospodařili a ještě o všelijakých jiných věcech. Veselá vyprávění o dvou nerozlučných kamarádech, která potěšila již několik generací čtenářů. Povídání o tom, jak pejsek a kočička myli podlahu, jak pekli dort nebo o tom, jak si pejsek roztrhl kalhoty a kočička mu je zašila dešťovkou, si čítávali už prarodiče dnešních dětí. Autorův laskavý humor, kterým si bere na mušku drobné dětské nectnosti, jeho vcítění do dětského myšlení a krásný vroucný jazyk tvoří tuto milou knížku nesmrtelnou.

In the territories of Bohemia & Moravia, in the course of the last 1,000 years, over 600 Jewish religious communities came into being. As a consequence of dramatic historical events, however many of them ceased to exist. In spite of the fact that Jews settled in Bohemia & Moravia as early as the 10th century, with the only exception of Prague, none of the medieval Jewish cemeteries have lasted to this day. Jewish cemeteries are often the only memory of once important Jewish communities in the former Czechoslovakia. Dilapidated, desolate, overgrown by weeds, this photo book will preserve their messages.

Monografie českého výtvarníka Roberta Piesena vyplňuje jednu z mnoha mezer v dějinách českého výtvarného umění. Piesen je v ní představen čtyřmi kunsthistorickými studiemi, čtyřmi odlišnými i vzájemně se prolínajícími pohledy na jeho tvorbu. Obdržela cenu Nejkrásnější kniha roku 2001 v kategorii uměleckých publikací.
