Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Dissertation werden zwei additiven Fertigungsverfahren, Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) und Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) unter Verwendung thermoplastischer Faserverbundwerkstoffe kombiniert. Weiterhin kommt künstliche Intelligenz zur Optimierung und Minimierung der Fehler im Fertigungsprozess zum Einsatz. Durch die Kombination dieser drei Methoden in einem automatisierten Fertigungsprozess lassen sich leichtere und kostengünstigere Faserverbundbauteile in homogeneren Serien herstellen. Endlosfasern wie Kohlenstofffasern können durch ihre mechanischen Eigenschaften die Leistung dieser Methoden signifikant erhöhen. Der Autor M.
