Billy Moore Libri

Billy Moore went to Thailand to escape a present of drug addiction and alcoholism. But just as he was managing to detox, he succumbs to the temptation and tries the powerful yaba, known as "the drug of madness," a methamphetamine with devastating effects. Moore's life is once again in balance between addiction and crime: he earns a living through illegal boxing matches until he is arrested and imprisoned in Klong Prem, a place where life has no value. The young Englishman finds himself facing a hostile environment, where the only rules are the ruthless ones of the Thai prison gangs, and violence is the only language everyone can understand. Billy, drawing on his past as a boxer, learns the discipline of Muay Thai, the art of Thai combat. After three long years, his strength and determination, combined with a bit of luck, will give him a second, unexpected chance. What can pull you out of hell? The true story of a man fighting to survive in the infamous Klong Prem prison, one of the most terrifying prisons in the world. A raw and authentic tale where human life is worth less than zero.

A follow-up to the bestselling A Prayer Before Dawn about Billy's imprisonment in Klong Prem prison, the 'Bangkok Hilton', which details his life in and out of prison here in the UK, his battles against addiction and his path to redemption.

Kitart-e ereje a szabadulásig? A könyvből filmet is készítettek.
