High school student Charlotte Tills gets into a fatal car accident. She comes to life, but already with extraordinary abilities. Extraordinary people are terribly rare. They can pose a threat both to themselves and to others. Few people know about their existence, and an organization called EON is doing its best to keep it that way: it tracks them down and kills them. After coming back to life, Charlotte can see how others will die. She also sees her own death - at the hands of EON's best assassin, Eli Ever. To save herself and protect her family, Charlotte must act preemptively and kill Eli before he tracks her down.
