Kultovní komiks Red Meat se objevuje na stránkách amerického tisku už od roku 1989 - a s nástupem internetu se stal kultem i u nás. Red Meat 2 přináší další průhledy do autorova bizarního světa, plného černočerného humoru, kruté nadsázky, mrazivé ironie, psychopaticko-sadistickokriminologicko-laktačně-autistického sarkasmu. Cannonovi hrdinové jako by byli vystřiženi z filmů Davida Lynche; jejich strnulé výrazy ostře kontrastují s dynamickým, agresivním humorem, který leckoho šokuje, leckoho irituje, leckoho fascinuje, ale nikoho nenechává chladným.

Petr Čtvrtníček napsal hru Ivánku, kamaráde, můžeš mluvit? na přelomu roku 2004 a 2005 jako reakci na korupční skandál ve fotbalovém svazu. Následně s touto inscenací hostoval na scénách řady českých divadel. V beznadějně vyprodaných sálech exceloval v hlavních rolích Petr Čtvrtníček společně s Jiřím Lábusem za živého hudebního doprovodu Malého symfonického orchestru BEZDREV. Tato kniha je nejen literárním přepisem této hry, ale přináší mnoho dalších motivů z pera nepřéhlednutelně upřímného mystifikátora Petra Čtvrtníčka. Není tedy vyloučeno, že tato jeho literární prvotina se fotbalu nakonec vůbec nebude týkat... Faktografickou část knihy Mrdky nepochopily nic zpracoval a připravil k vydání Dr. Zdeněk Pavlis.
