Je zřejmé, že zvítězit nad virem a zachránit Zemi před katastrofou znamená pro Susan a její spolupracovníky podniknout nebezpečnou výpravu do neznámého pralesa a tam uplatnit všechen důvtip a znalosti nejen nejmodernějších počítačových technologií, ale i starodávných glyfů. Román, využívající emocí kolem přechodu počítačů na datum roku 2000, je sepsán maličko těžkopádným stylem. Navíc se nelze zbavit dojmu, že už prvního ledna roku dva tisíce se ze sci-fi románu stal nechtěně román historický. Nicméně samo téma může být velmi zajímavé pro počítačové nadšence.

Jack Taylor odjakživa potřeboval k životu dobrodružství a adrenalin.
