Tatian

    Tatian fu uno scrittore e teologo paleocristiano assiro, la cui opera dimostra un profondo coinvolgimento con i testi biblici e la filosofia. Il suo contributo più significativo è il Diatessaron, un'armonia dei quattro Vangeli che divenne un testo standard nelle chiese siriache. La conversione di Tatian fu guidata dalla sua repulsione verso i culti pagani, portandolo a diventare discepolo di Giustino Martire, con cui condivideva un approccio filosofico alla religione.
