Ernest Shepard Libri

This volume contains a complete chapter from Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne.

Winnie-the-Pooh is walking through the forest when he comes upon a hole. "If I know anything about anything," he says, "that hole means Rabbit. And Rabbit means Company. And Company means Food." Hurrah! But once Pooh goes through the hole and has some honey, will he ever be able to get out?

Pooh has never been on an "expotition" before, and he is not sure if bears are any good at discovering the North Pole. Christopher Robin has forgotten what it looks like, so it is a great surprise when they find the Pole. This book is part of a series of "Winnie-the-Pooh" story books.

Pooh is playing a game by the river with Rabbit, Roo, and Piglet, when who should float by but Eeyore! What is he doing in the river? Eeyore gives Rabbit three guesses. Is Eeyore digging holes in the ground? Wrong. Is he leaping from branch to branch of an oak tree? Wrong. Is he waiting for somebody to help him out of the river? Right. Perfect for early readers, Pooh Invents a New Game will not fail to please! Adapted by Stephen Krensky. Illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard.
