Pierre Janet

    Pierre Janet è stato uno psicologo, filosofo e psicoterapeuta francese, riconosciuto tra i padri fondatori della psicologia. Fu un pioniere nel campo della dissociazione e della memoria traumatica, postulando un legame tra eventi passati e traumi presenti, e coniò i termini "dissociazione" e "subconscio". Dans le premier volume de son livre, Pierre Janet (1859-1947) avait étudié le contenu intellectuel des obsessions, puis il avait construit, sur le modèle de l'hystérie et de l'épilepsie, une grande psycho-névrose, la "psychasthénie". Celle-ci comprenait les obsessions, les impulsions, les manies mentales, la folie du doute, les tics etc. Le second volume de son livre (1903), écrit en collaboration avec Fulgence Raymond (1844-1910), est constitué par la présentation détaillée de cas pathologiques illustrant la partie théorique présente dans le premier volume du même titre.
