Při dvouletém pátrání po jejím osudu ožívá bohémská Paříž dvacátého století a objevují se i další přátelé a známí, které si Dora v roce 1951 do notýsku již nezapsala – Georges Bataille, Max Jacob, Man Ray… a samozřejmě (všudypřítomný) Picasso.
