Yesterday's Sandwich II is a continuation of a book published by Phaidon in 2007. The collection contains 90 superimposed images from the same photo series, selected by the artist. One of the most influential photographers of the former Soviet Union, Boris Mikhailov developed a new method in the late '60s with the evolution of photo-technology. Placing one developed film on another, he overlapped two color slides to create these so-called "sandwiches."
