This volume examines the carcinogenicity of cytotoxic drugs. These agents have been found successful in curing previously fatal forms of cancer, however their own long-term carcinogenic effects have only recently been determined. Contributors provide a general overview of this area, examiningwhat is known about the activity of cytotoxic drugs at a molecular level, probing their carcinogenic and other effects, and reviewing epidemiological investigations.
