Kakuzó Okakura

    Okakura Kakuzō fu un influente studioso ed esteta giapponese che contribuì significativamente allo sviluppo delle arti in Giappone. Al di fuori del suo paese natale, è ricordato principalmente come l'autore de 'Il libro del tè', un'opera che esplora la cultura e la filosofia giapponese attraverso la lente della cerimonia del tè. Okakura si propose di presentare e promuovere l'arte e la cultura asiatica in Occidente, cercando di favorire una maggiore comprensione ed equilibrio tra Oriente e Occidente.
