James Madison

    James Madison fu uno statista americano e il quarto Presidente degli Stati Uniti, ampiamente considerato il "Padre della Costituzione" per la sua principale paternità del documento. È anche conosciuto come il "Padre della Carta dei Diritti", avendo redatto i primi dieci emendamenti. Come importante teorico politico, Madison sostenne robusti controlli ed equilibri per frenare l'influenza di interessi speciali e si impegnò profondamente a stabilire meccanismi che garantissero il repubblicanesimo.
