    Laurent de Brunhoff è stato un autore e illustratore francese che ha dedicato la sua vita alla conservazione e all'espansione del mondo di Babar. Riprendendo il lavoro di suo padre, ha continuato a creare storie sul re elefante e sulla sua famiglia, mantenendo viva la magia di queste opere per le nuove generazioni. Il contributo di Brunhoff è consistito nella sua illimitata creatività e nell'amore per i personaggi che la sua famiglia aveva portato alla vita.
