Archimedes

    Archimede fu uno studioso greco le cui intuizioni sui principi della leva e dell'idrostatica posero le basi per la fisica moderna. Le sue scoperte matematiche includevano metodi pionieristici per il calcolo di aree e volumi e un'accurata approssimazione di pi greco.
