Cecilienhof was built between 1913 and 1917 by Kaiser Wilhelm II for his eldest son, Crown Prince Wilhelm, and his wife, Crown Princess Cecilie, in the northern part of the New Garden. Due to its historically varied use, some rooms have been significantly altered from their original state. Today, the palace offers a unique opportunity to explore the significant global events of the Potsdam Conference in an authentic setting. Since April 2012, an informative permanent exhibition has been presented to numerous international visitors in a new format.
