Maggiori informazioni sul libro

Two mischievous sisters embark on delightful adventures in increasingly fantastical and comical situations. "There's wind on the Moon," Major Palfrey explains to his daughters, Dinah and Dorinda, as he prepares for a secret mission. He is concerned about this wind: "If it's a bad wind and you misbehave, it will blow into your hearts, and you'll misbehave for a long time. I hope you behave well, as I will be away for a year, and I don't want you to be a burden to your mother." But it's too late for warnings; the wind is already in the sisters' hearts, and Major Palfrey has every reason to worry about his daughters at home. Dinah and Dorinda cannot help but be naughty, and their knack for getting into trouble grows when they discover they have magical powers. However, they soon learn that their father has been captured in a hostile land. Will magic help Dinah and Dorinda rescue him? "We've done various things," Dorinda says, "that everyone thought were absolutely impossible." "It's truly amazing," Dinah adds, "what can be accomplished when one is determined."
