Patricia Anne is baffled by her sister Mary Alice's distress over Ray's new bride, Sunshine Dabbs, who is charming yet unconventional. Soon, the compound is filled with an odd mix of friends, neighbors, and relatives, including Meemaw's eerie channeler, Sunshine's jilted boyfriend lurking nearby, and a pack of dogs ready to pounce. Adding to the chaos is Kerrigan, Sunshine's mostly absent mother, who works in the adult film industry, potentially shocking Mary Alice even further.
