The painter Jeroen Anthoniszoon van Aken, better known as Hieronymus Bosch, is not only one of the greatest masters of Flemish painting but also a universal enigma that has remained unsolved for centuries. From his surviving works, technically avant-garde from the late 15th to early 16th century, radiates a message, a teaching, an assertion of which the key has been lost.
