Maggiori informazioni sul libro
In a legendary land where magic is real, the wicked Queen Bavmorda rules her kingdom from a castle perched on an insurmountable mountain. Despite being defended by an army of fierce dogs and giant warriors, the Queen lives in fear of a terrible threat. She fears the birth of a girl with a mark on her arm destined, according to an ancient prophecy, to end her evil reign. When the girl is born, the midwife, defying the royal order to deliver her for execution, manages to save her by entrusting her to Willow, a farmer who dreams of becoming a wizard. It is up to him to protect the child and embark on a desperate flight that leads him into the mysterious world of magic and enchantment. Accompanied by two brownies, a renegade warrior, and a resourceful sorceress, Willow traverses a land ravaged by war in a tragic and fantastical odyssey that culminates in a cruel and fatal duel.
