Maggiori informazioni sul libro

Berlin butcher Külz simply wanted to escape his daily routine. Without informing his family, he set off for a few days in Copenhagen. He planned to stroll around the city, visit landmarks, and indulge himself, taking a break from the usual monotony between butcher hooks and blood sausage. However, while enjoying a platter on the terrace of the prestigious Hotel D'Angleterre, he meets Miss Trübner. She tells him that she is the private secretary of a wealthy art collector who has just acquired a valuable miniature. She has been tasked with safely transporting this masterpiece to Berlin, but she fears she is being followed. Miss Trübner asks Külz for help, suggesting he take the miniature to Berlin, as no one would suspect him. Meanwhile, she plans to shake off her pursuers with all her feminine wiles. For Külz, such an adventure is a welcome change, and he agrees. However, during the ship passage, the thieves manage to steal the artwork. Now, they must outsmart the crooks and retrieve the miniature. A turbulent journey begins, taking them to Warnemünde, Rostock, and Berlin.
