The volume is dedicated to the long-time supporter of the study group, Marie Zápotocká, for her 85th birthday and contains a foreword, words of welcome, an introduction, an overview of urban archaeology at Bechyně and 18 papers related to hoards. These contributions deal with the interpretation of hoards, BA metal hoards in Southern and Western Bohemia, Eastern Bavaria, and the Eastern Bavarian Alpine foothills, with prehistoric depositions in Upper Austria and Urnfield ones in Lower Austria, hoards as potential evidence for metallurgy, a bronze hoard of the later BA from Staré Sedlo, pottery deposits of the BA and UK in Eastern Bavaria, hoards of loom weights in the Czech Republic, Hallstatt depositions in the hilltop settlement at Vraný vrch near Spolí, the hoard of a smith on Scheuchenberg Hill near Sulzbach/Danube, the function of the Maximiliansfelsen rock near Auerbach/Opf., pennies from Schwäbisch Hall in the Egerland region, a coin hoard from Abtsroth/Opatov, distr. Eger/Cheb, Medieval building sacrifices in Bohemia, and a deposit of seeds and fruits of A. D. 1847 from the chain bridge at Podolí, distr. Písek. The book ends with a bibliography and lists of participants and authors.

Kniha přináší komplexní přehled depotů z doby bronzové z území Čech, objevených do konce roku 2013 a předaných do muzejních sbírek. Jedná se o více než stovku nových souborů, které dosud většinou nebyly publikovány a které významně doplňují starší syntézy českých depotů. Všechny tyto nové nálezy jsou v knize podrobně popsány, analyzovány a rovněž kompletně vyobrazeny. Vedle archeologického vyhodnocení jsou v knize zařazeny i kapitoly o chemických analýzách kovových artefaktů z depotů a o archeobotanických analýzách. Publikace vyšla ve dvou svazcích se shodným ISBN.
