"This study provides an overview on the experiences of the first generation of Europan students spending a period of study in another Member State of the European Community in the framework of the European Course Credit Transfer System (ECTS) of the ERASMUS programme. About 350 students responded to a written questionnaire. The findings suggest that credits awarded were remarkably high in spite of obvious problems regarding the faithful pursuit of the ECTS scheme in its initial year 1989-90" (back page).
