Dr. med. Alexandra Aicher studied medicine in Ulm and Kiel, specializing in medical oncology and tumor immunology at the Robert-Rössle-Klinik. After her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, she has focused on molecular cardiology at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität Frankfurt/Main since 2000, particularly in mobilizing stem and progenitor cells to enhance neovascularization. Klaudia Adler completed her studies in Frankfurt and has been an assistant physician in the Department of Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Therapy at the same university since 2004. Prof. Dr. med. Winfried Brenner trained in Ulm and underwent further education in nuclear medicine at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, followed by a visiting professorship at the University of Washington Medical Center. Since 2004, he has served as a senior physician in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf, focusing on the skeletal system, thyroid, and positron emission tomography. Dr. med. Caroline Schmidt-Lucke studied medicine in Aachen and gained experience in various UK hospitals before joining the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg.
