The present volume, which consists of contributions in English and Russian, analyzes the linkage between investment law and environmental law in the sphere of international law as well as in the legal systems of Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Instruments of investment law and environmental law must be applied in a coordinated manner in order to optimize the implementation of the policies of both branches of the law and to avoid conflicts. В настоящем сборнике, состоящем из статей на англий- ском и русском языках, анализируется взамодействие международных и национальных норм инвестиционного и экологического права России, Казахстана и Азербайд- жана. Инвестиционное и экологическое право использу- ют различные инструменты регулирования, применение которых необходимо координировать для оптимального достижения целей поставленных перед этими отраслями права.
