The prediction of the lifetime of mechanical designs is a challenging task in mechanical engineering. The accurate estimation of risks and providing the warranty on themechanical components is a problem taking place mainly in the industry, e. g. in the manufacturing of engines, turbines, heat exchangers, etc. The importance of this problem is strongly related to the income of the manufacturer, which is one of reasons for their interest. Besides the mercantile reasons, the safety is also a very significant factor, which, however, is also related to the excessive expenditures in case of accidents, e. g. failures of turbines with destruction of turbine housing1, an explosion of engine in the vehicle, etc.
