Maggiori informazioni sul libro

The Covid Verses by Roger Hornett is a collection of poems and prose which describe the experience over the past year regarding the pandemic. Sir Captain Tom Moore, Donald Trump and Brexit also put in short appearances. The poems offer an interesting and opposing view to that which society has been ‘sold' by the Government, the scientists and the media. Roger Hornett suggests that the pandemic could have been handled differently and that we should have been made more aware of the positive elements e.g., new forms of medicine and treatment that were ‘discovered' whilst treating patients with Covid. He also believes that we should have been given more stats regarding other diseases and their death rates, to put Covid into perspective. An interesting and often humorous read, for everyone who has lived through the past year.
