This is a humorous collection of catty paintings that parody 124 famous paintings of the world. Shu Yamamoto, who describes himself as a cat/art lover, transformed the masterpieces using his unique style with his knowledge of art and love for cats. The paintings are presented in the chronological order of the referenced works, from Ancient, Middle Ages, Orient, Renaissance, Impressionism, to 20th Century Art, and readers can definitely tell which masterpieces the parodies are based on. The title, artist name, year and the owner of each reference work is listed in the back pages.
