Maggiori informazioni sul libro

Focusing on the parameterization of rockfalls, this work explores 3D run-out modeling in the Bavarian Alps, addressing both low-magnitude and mid-magnitude events. It introduces a geomechanical approach to analyze a 200 m3 limestone block's failure scenario using deterministic and numerical models. The study employs RAMMS::Rockfall to assess the impact of block shape on run-out distance, alongside Rockyfor3D for comprehensive modeling across the project site. Field investigations provide essential data, enhancing the understanding of rockfall dynamics.
