The novel explores women of all generations trapped in roles imposed on them by the past. Barbara Rose Brooker is a native San Franciscan. She has a Masters in creative writing from San Francisco State University. She teaches writing at SFSU/OLLI and private seminars. She has published fiction with Morrow, Simon & Schuster, and other publishers. She is a published poet and journalist. She speaks on national television about ageism and creativity. Her novel, The Viagra Diaries, has been translated into thirteen languages. She is at work on a new novel.
