    Agni läuft direkt in sein Verderben, er weiß es nur noch nicht. Togata hat ihm in Behemdorg eine Falle gestellt, man erwartet ihn dort bereits. Zum Tode verdammte Gesegnete sollen ihm den Kopf abhacken, wenn nicht, werden sie allesamt in die Luft gesprengt. Aber auf dem Weg zu seiner Hinrichtung hat Agni auf einmal eine Vision und von da an läuft alles erst recht völlig aus dem Ruder.

    Ist das jetzt Frieden? Zehn Jahre leben Agni und Judah nun schon als Bruder und Schwester zusammen. Das alte Leben hinter sich zu lassen, ist aber nicht so einfach, wie es klingt. Wieder und wieder versucht Agni, Fire Punch und damit sich selbst und seine Vergangenheit zu töten, aber es geht nicht. Und auch ihr altes Leben hat die beiden nicht vergessen. Es setzt zum Sprung an und einmal mehr müssen die Rollen neu verteilt werden.

    Eis hat die Welt in frostiges Ödland verwandelt. Wohin man auch sieht, herrschen Kälte und Hunger und fallen Menschen dem Wahnsinn anheim. Agni und Luna jedoch sind "gesegnet". Oder sollte man besser sagen "verflucht"? Durch ihre besondere Gabe, ihre Fähigkeit zur Regeneration, verfügen sie über eine nachwachsende Nahrungsquelle - sich selbst. Aber bald schon lernen sie, dass es noch mehr Menschen wie sie gibt und die wenigsten davon sind freundlich. Als seine Schwester Luna ihnen schließlich zum Opfer fällt, wird Agni zum Feuer der Rache selbst. Schonungsloses Endzeitdrama über brennenden Hass, Wahnsinn und Krieg in einer apokalyptischen Welt.
