Jahrhunderts vollziehenden epistemologischen Paradigmenwechsel von der Naturgeschichte zum Vitalismus verändert sich auch das Verhältnis von Norm und Transgression grundlegend: Natur ist nicht mehr mit Ordnung identisch, das Leben erhält durch die ihm inhärente Vitalkraft ein transgressives Potential.
