How will energy be dissipated in molecular systems? This work presents recent theoretical achievements as well as practical applications from different fields. Starting from statistical and quantum mechanical foundations, the authors span the range of state-of-the-art research in molecular physics.
Abstract Channel coding is an important part of any wireless communication system. Iteratively decoded codes like turbo codes and LDPC codes provide a very good error correction performance and are consequently part of multiple communication standards. In this thesis, we focus on the design of architectures for iterative channel decoders.
