Georg Hegel

    Filosofo e una delle figure fondatrici dell'idealismo tedesco. Influenzato dall'idealismo trascendentale di Kant e dalla politica di Rousseau, Hegel formulò un elaborato sistema di sviluppo storico dell'etica, del governo e della religione attraverso lo svolgimento dialettico dell'Assoluto. Fu uno dei filosofi storicisti più noti e il suo pensiero presagì la filosofia continentale, incluso il postmodernismo. Il suo sistema fu invertito in un'ideologia materialista da Karl Marx, originariamente membro della fazione dei giovani hegeliani.
