Murder on the Harpeth

I had a morning routine where I did three hundred and fifty pushups, two hundred and seventy-five sit-ups and jogged a mile. After that I would drive to my local Starbucks for a cappuccino with two raw sugars and a toasted chocolate croissant. That day was different though and I was flying to Nashville Tennessee for the 4th of July to visit my wife’s family. I really wanted to take my son canoeing or white water rafting so he could get a little taste of the Tennessee outdoors. Was that too much to ask for? I didn’t think so but my wife did. Luckily, when we arrived in Nash Vegas my father in-law had a change of heart and he agreed to take the boys out on the Harpeth River. Unfortunately, I had no idea that we were about to run into some trouble. I never could have planned for the horrible chaos that we would encounter. If only I would have listened to my wife, then maybe, just maybe, you wouldn’t be reading this now.
