Kevin O'Donnell is classifying bones in a Neolithic burial caim, a cave on the north coast of Ireland. As he reads the bones he reaches a startling conclusion. A more adavanced species of humn is evolving on Earth and coexists today with the older species, homo sapiens. Neither species is aware of the other's existence.
