Aber auch über seine anarchistische Gesinnung, die er nie aufgegeben hat. Mit erstaunlich schlüssiger Logik legt er seinem fassungslosen Zuhörer dar, dass diesem Aufstieg eine anarchistische Methode zugrunde liegt: »Geld zu erwerben, es in so großer Menge zu erwerben, dass sein Einfluss nicht mehr spürbar werden konnte.« Der einzig logische Schluss kann denn auch nur lauten: Der wahre Anarchist muss Bankier werden, der wahre Bankier ist konsequenter Anarchist.
