A translation of records kept by the Lutheran settlers of Ebenezer, Georgia, for the period 1759-60. Written for the most part by pastor Johann Boltzius, for the edification of the folks back home, they were edited contemporaneously by the Austrian Urlsperger. The reports describe doings of the colony of yeoman farmers, silk producers, and lumbermen, and great events of the day (for this period, the Cherokee War). Annotation copyright Book News, Inc.
