Supplement Vol. 4, Suppl. 1 (1996) Experimental Nephrology This timely issue reviews new therapeutic strategies for preventing or delaying renal disease progression. Special attention is given to pharmacologic interventions aimed at inhibiting the synthesis of angiotensin II or blocking its biological activity at the receptor level.
