This atypical publication is an authentic theater script taken from the book bearing the same title The Felt Hat - Joseph Beuys - a life told by Lucrezia De Domizio Durini. The authoress eliminates the story of the life and works of the man-artist, she disposes of the symbolic materials which impregnate the whole work of the great German artist and, by way of a spectacular multimedia stage theatricalness, she poses the philosophy of Beuys as the primary basis of the entire piece. The Hypothesis of Stage-Design is aimed at a de-constructive operation of theatrical architectural methodologies.
